Jean and Lindsey met at a local running club here in Austin, Texas in 2014. What started as a friendship based in their mutual love of Tex-Mex and headstands, eventually developed into a business partnership dedicated to trauma education and breaking the toxic patterns prevalent in modern yoga and dance studios. Their partnership often exhibits an effortless flow, with rapid-fire creation rooted in profound respect for each other and the talents they each bring to the table.
In her spare time, you can find Jean snuggling her puppies or dancing in her kitchen while creating impromptu songs about root vegetables as she cooks.
Lindsey has a mild obsession with Wheel of Time and Italian wine. She’ll also dress you for fun, as long as you follow her advice. Let’s face it, she has great taste.
The two of them love Austin, Texas and proudly claim it as their home. Their community means everything to them, and they are so thankful for the opportunity to make a difference through Body Collective. The studio is their baby, and their second home, and they would love for it to be your safe haven, too.
So, welcome home to Body Collective, a place where it doesn’t matter what you look like, what gender you identify as, or where you come from.
The moment you walk through the doors, you become family. Your community is waiting for you.
