Why Donate?

Body Collective is offering a variety of Free, Donation-Based, and Sliding Scale classes, content, and online events. Our intention is to…

  1. Continue to offer income opportunities for our teachers and practitioners, most of whom are experiencing a drastic dip in income during this difficult time. We very strictly never ask our teachers or practitioners to work for free, and we are dedicated to continuing to pay our teachers a fair wage for their time and efforts.
  2. Support our community by offering self care tools in the form of yoga, meditation, breath work, self-massage, dance classes, movement therapy, community connection, and a variety of other offerings.

With your support, we can maintain and potentially expand our offerings to you.

Balasana is a great pose to have in your toolbox for when you need some additional grounding. In Sanskrit, bala means child and asana refers to a posture. Since Balasana is a resting pose, it can be great for helping relieve fatigue and can promote relaxation. This pose also helps stretch the ankles, hips, and shoulders.
