Mission Statement

Service

Our mission is to create a space in which we can offer the highest quality yoga, yoga therapy, dance, dance/movement therapy (DMT), massage, and acupuncture to the Greater Austin community in an inclusive and trauma-sensitive environment.

We want every person who walks through our doors to feel safe, welcome, and accepted

Equal Opportunity

We shall create opportunities for individuals who cannot afford full priced memberships to receive classes at sliding-scale pricing and shall make available scholarships for our premium services. Our intention is to bridge the economic gap among persons living in our community by creating an equal opportunity to receive holistic services, such as massage therapy, dance therapy, yoga therapy, and acupuncture.

Community

We shall organize regular community events to foster social connections within our community.

Balasana is a great pose to have in your toolbox for when you need some additional grounding. In Sanskrit, bala means child and asana refers to a posture. Since Balasana is a resting pose, it can be great for helping relieve fatigue and can promote relaxation. This pose also helps stretch the ankles, hips, and shoulders. If you suffer from lower back pain, it can help relieve pain by lengthening and stretching the spine. ⠀ 12 0
