What We’re About

At Body Collective, our core mission is to create a diverse, inclusive, trauma-conscious wellness environment where bodies of every race, gender expression, sexual orientation, class, and age, are celebrated and represented.

  • Wellness is a right, not a luxury. Access to wellness is a social justice issue, and we are on a mission to make it accessible to all who seek it.
  • We celebrate all bodies. We’re here to create a safe, healing environment where we can feel at home in our bodies and celebrate moving and breathing together.
  • Wellness is a journey, not a destination. Our goal is to create opportunities for self-inquiry, growth, and healing through trauma-conscious movement for EVERY Body.
  • Accountability and repair. Body Collective is founded by two cis white women, and we are aware that our best intentions won’t always be enough. We are committed to engaging in a process of accountability and repair if and when we or our members cause harm.
