Repeating Questions with Dale Goldstein

Repeating Questions are a form of Inquiry, preferably done with a partner, where a question is asked and answered repeatedly, usually for a given amount of time.  The questions can be answered in one of two possible ways:

  1. Right off the top of one’s head; or,
  2. Using the previous answer as a springboard to take the next answer deeper.

The form is as follows:

  1. Partner A asks Partner B the question;
  2. Partner B answers;
  3. Partner A says, “Thank you,” and asks the question again.

The process is repeated until the allotted time expires.  Partner A needs to remain absolutely poker-faced, as any response shown interferes with Partner B’s answering.   When time is up, the two partners trade places, with Partner B asking and Partner A answering.

Balasana is a great pose to have in your toolbox for when you need some additional grounding. In Sanskrit, bala means child and asana refers to a posture. Since Balasana is a resting pose, it can be great for helping relieve fatigue and can promote relaxation. This pose also helps stretch the ankles, hips, and shoulders. If you suffer from lower back pain, it can help relieve pain by lengthening and stretching the spine. ⠀ 12 0
Feeling a little ungrounded lately? Try these three poses to help you feel more stable. When practicing these poses, try to notice the parts of your body that are connected to the earth. ⠀ 13 0
