About Kittie

Miranda AKA Kittie is a female empowerment coach based in Austin, TX. Kittie grew up dancing in the studio exploring multiple styles such as jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet, and hula. Within the past 3 years, she began exploring more styles including heels, hip hop, pole dance, and some Latin and afro social partner dancing! With her passion for dance, it is her mission to empower women to find real self-love and self-confidence through movement to create a world filled with empowered women who empower others.

Miranda’s Offerings

Dance classes: Get Up and Move Dance Fitness class, Improv class (body awareness), Grounded class (all floor work), Footwork class, Hip Hop class

What to expect from a class with Miranda

Fempowerment Heels is an empowering environment held for anybody who wishes to explore their femininity & sexuality and find ways to express themselves through movement. Class will begin with a body movement warm-up followed by an empowerment exercise to tune in with yourself & your body for that particular day and class. The remaining portion of class will be dedicated to learning a heels dance choreography where we will further explore your inner feminine & sexual expression in a fun way! The vibe is always fun, sassy, sexy, and exploratory dancing to pop/r&b hits. Class is geared toward absolute beginners – beginners and levels can be modified depending on class participants.

Fun fact about Miranda

I started wearing cat ears as a way to express myself when pole dancing and my dance friends started calling me Kittie! And that is how my dance persona was born 🙂 The name always felt fitting for me and has helped me really be creative in expressing my femininity & sexuality.
