Native to Oklahoma, and going on 8 years as a Texan. Currently, living in San Marcos, TX doing part-time work in digital marketing and spending free time doing community theater and other film and stage acting pursuits. I also enjoy swimming, rock climbing, and practicing martial arts (Kuk Sool Won).
The practice of yoga came to me gradually, beginning as a form of exercise and stretching. Over time and through learning the more subtle aspects of yoga, like breathing and meditation, I became more aware of the thoughts and emotions that would arise and discovered the connection between my external, physical practice and the internal, or mental/emotional state. From there, I’ve continued to notice the connection within myself, and also the connection we all have to the community, to nature, and to the entire world and beyond. Sharing yoga (union, connection) with those around me has become a part of my daily life and I am now answering a welcome call to share with an even wider community through Body Collective.
What to expect from a class with Logan
While the style or energy of the classes and sessions with me will, of course, vary somewhat based on the season, time of day, the individual, global environment, etc. You should know before coming to class that I like to keep classes simple, thematic, and usually with music that fits the movement or meditation style we’re practicing. If you’re sensitive to certain lighting, sound, or smells, always feel free to reach out during or before class. I like to give lots of options in class and consider each student the master of their own bodies. As a teacher, I want to become a student of you first, then discover how I can best be a guide.
Fun fact about Logan
If I could be one animal from Avatar the Last Airbender, it would be a sabertooth moose lion.
